This Privacy Policy explains how AI Psychology Balance ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our mobile application. By creating an account and using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Important — AI processing. The App is an AI-based psychological support tool. To provide AI responses and analyze your tests, your input is sent to a third-party AI service (OpenAI) for processing. We ask for your explicit consent inside the App before any such data is sent. See the section "Third-Party AI Processing" below.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Account information — your email address, used to create and sign in to your account (via email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In).
User content — the content you create in the App, including chat messages, voice recordings, images you attach, and your answers to psychological tests and their results.
Profile photo — an optional profile picture you select from your device's photo library (stored locally on your device).

Information collected automatically

Usage and device data — app interactions, device model, operating system, language, and similar technical information, collected through analytics tools.
Crash and diagnostic data — information about crashes and errors to help us fix problems.
Push notification identifiers — a device token used to deliver notifications.
Subscription data — your subscription status and purchase history (we do not receive or store your payment card details; those are handled by Apple and Google).

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide AI-based psychological support (chat) and to analyze your test results.
To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
To store and display your session and test history.
To process and manage your subscriptions.
To send push notifications (where enabled).
To monitor, maintain, secure, and improve the App through analytics and crash reporting.
To respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your conversations or test answers for advertising.

3. Third-Party AI Processing (OpenAI)

To generate AI psychologist responses and to analyze your psychological tests, the App sends your input — including your chat messages, voice recordings, attached images, and test answers — to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C., United States), a third-party AI service, for processing.

What is sent: the text, audio, images, and test answers you submit within the relevant feature.
Who it is sent to: OpenAI, which processes the data to return a response or analysis.
Why: solely to generate the AI responses and analysis you request within the App.
Your consent: we request your explicit consent inside the App before any data is sent to OpenAI. If you do not consent, the AI features are not used and no data is sent.

4. Service Providers We Share Data With

We share limited data with the following service providers ("sub-processors") strictly to operate the App:

5. International Data Transfers

Our service providers, including OpenAI and Google, are located in the United States and other countries. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see "Your Rights"). After a deletion request, we remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location (including under the EU GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights — including deleting your account and data — contact us at Aipsychologys@gmail.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
